Video in Email

It is inadvisable to embed video within an email due to weight, loading issues, and the fact that video is not supported by all email clients.

Overview

Videos can boost engagement when promoting a product, telling a story, or building emotional connection. However, embedding video directly in email is not widely supported, see the table below. Instead, the best practice is to simulate the experience using a linked thumbnail image or GIF. See Animated GIFS.
