Introduction

The Marketing Email Design System (M-EDS) is a collection of assets and resources (including Photoshop and Sketch design files, HTML files, and a guidelines PDF) that enable development of Amex marketing emails. It ensures brand consistency, saves creative and development time, and embraces email channel best practices such as mobile responsiveness and optimization for accessibility.

The Servicing Email Design Team (S-EDS) was created by the Global Email Experience Team as a companion to the Marketing Email Design System (M-EDS) that first launched in 2017. It brings the benefits of compliant, consistent on-brand emails and industry leading best-practices to this major touchpoint with our Card Members and partners. The new design system, coupled with the Raven comms ecosystem, aims to facilitate efficient automation and streamline creation and deployment of servicing emails.
